Lent 2023
Lent is a season of forty days (not counting Sundays) which begins on Ash Wednesday and ends on Holy Saturday. This is a time of preparation for the celebration of Easter. We spend time reflecting on the ways we have fallen short so that we can seek reconciliation and forgiveness. It is a time of self-examination and repentance, done with the loving presence and guidance of the Holy Spirit. For information on our Holy Week schedule, click here.
Lent Bible Study
Sundays at 9:30am (in person)
Wednesdays at 7:00pm (Zoom)
We will use the book Savior by Rev. Magrey deVega
to consider why the cross was necessary and what it means for us today.
Special Worship Service
February 22, 2023
On Ash Wednesday we will offer a time of worship at 12:00 pm and again at 7:00 pm. If you would like to receive ashes, but you cannot attend one of these two services, please contact Pastor Beth.
